Campaign Activities Launched at Kooroppada Grama Panchayat
The campaign activities of Operation Toofan 2.0, jointly conducted by the Home Department of the Government of Kerala and the Local Self-Government Department, were inaugurated at Kooroppada Grama Panchayat on 28 September 2026.
The programme was inaugurated by Shri E. S. Vinod, President of Kooroppada Grama Panchayat, by hoisting the flag. Following the inauguration, the President distributed badges to the Toofan Warriors and administered the pledge.
Panchayat members, volunteers from various wards, Kudumbashree members, Haritha Karma Sena members, and Panchayat employees participated as Toofan Warriors, took the pledge, and received the badges.
The programme was attended by Smt. Sheela Cherian, Vice President, Standing Committee Chairpersons Shri P. B. Dileep Kumar, Smt. Sreelatha Prakash, and Smt. Jinsamma Mathew, and Panchayat members Shri V. M. Mathew, Smt. Sandhya G. Nair, Smt. Manju Krishnakumar, Smt. Savithriyamma, Shri Nidheesh Mon, Smt. Sreejamol, Smt. Veenamol, Smt. Jyothimol, Shri M. J. Shibu, Smt. Umadevi, Shri T. G. Mohanan, Shri T. M. Antony, and Shri K. A. Philip.
Sub-Inspector of Police (Pampady) Shri Mathew P. John, Panchayat Secretary Smt. Ampily . R., police officers, and other representatives also participated in the programme.
